STEREO GOT STOLEN!!!

^ agreed, for all you know the guy could have done his homework and disabled the alarm before he even opened a door.
Why would he have left the car but taken the stereo?
I'm guessing you didn't have theft covered in your insurence policy?

sawed off shoot gun , hand on the pump .
I wish we had certain laws in Canada similar to that of the U.S .
I have my 38 in drawer but would think twice before blowing the heads off the scum bags If they were ever to appear on my drive way , nahh I am lying , my thoughts would be why not a 45. Anyone know the consequences for blowing away a robber ? After all it is private property ? but then again , in Canada the thieves sew you If the get stung by your barb wire on their exit .

I feel really bad about it too 'cause I remember bringing up that topic like two nights before. Aw damn... my bad for jinxing you. Damn...
If there's anything I can do to help, lemme know. I feel really bad.

Have any serial numbers? Most guys are FAR too stupid to remove them off equipment ... since they just sell them to their friends. However, when their stupid friends bring this crap to pawnshops ... then you have them.
A friend of mine had a headunit, crappy Pioneer EQ and the crossovers for his components stolen. Gave the serial number for the EQ and I scribed 'this side down' on the back of the crossovers making fun of my buddy, so we told the cops that. Lo and behold, 2 years at LEAST later the police got the guy selling the EQ and the crossovers (probably the headunit too but we didn't have the serial ). This led to catching the guy that sold it to him and a LOT of people getting their stuff back.
In any case, serial numbers are usually printed on birthsheets for amps; I remembered that when a friend had an older Alpine stolen from him.
Good luck finding them, hopefully the retard tries to sell it on eBay or something. Probably lives somewhere nearby too, farken goons. You might want to put up pics at the local audio stores if they'll let you ... dumbass thieves are always happy to tell everyone that they're a thief and showoff their stolen crap. Someone might walk into the store who hates the guy/girl and tell on him if there's a reward.
Oh, and if they could SEE the sub, they will try to steal it again; especially if they have half a brain and know what it's worth. I bet no more than 2 weeks from now they'll try again. Put a webcam in your driveway or something, run surveillance software that can detect motion and make the computer go crazy if it's in your room. I would make a solid effort to save your sub possibly using it as bait, and copy down it's serial too. Pager alarms are great for catching thieves if you don't put a siren or the blinking LED.

thanks Laurence, Eddie and ET Jr.
Chinaman, its all your fault!!! i hold your kharma personally responsible for all this!! j/k.
yeah, our conversation has flashed through my head a few hundred times...i will be calling you for a little helping hand actually. it is greatly appreciated. i've got serials for most of the equipment. even them they are all very very rare pieces so if it pops up, i can personally identify them very easily.
Icon, i PM'd you.
i will keep this thread going for a while in hopes it will remain fresh on people's minds.
