Warning keep your cars locked up/disabled at all times
Over the last two months there have been a total of 11 or 12 auto thefts through local bc message boards alone.
vancouvermustangs, and vancouverfbody seem to be getting the brunt of it.
Looks as though someone is skimming over posts of whose car lives where and what's done to it.
Latest ones were an 81 trans am with a non working engine (someone stole it with a two truck) and a 96 camaro z28 with the VATS system and chipped ignition key. So either these people have a tow truck or a laptop and really know what they're doing.
A couple mustang mach 1s have been stolen aswell as a few 5.0s.
Just a reminder to not necessarily post pics and details of your guys systems and cars on here unless you want to run the risk.
Ya never know who could be watching.

caution
thats very intersting , I think it was a random hit and not meditated by anyone. I could be wrong but lots of ppl know where i live and i leave my system in my truck with no alarm what so ever and my stuff is unharmed.
For those that dont want your stuff jacked I would sugest to always take your faceplate off and keep your bling bling to a minimum and have a detorant in your car. Last thing dont turn your system on near your pad day or night , also includes washing your car with stereo on - a sunny sunday afternoon

well the vancouverfbody and vancouvermustangs sites have the same owner so its pretty much the same group of people when they have a meet.
The thefts on the site are definitely linked because its generally the nicest daily driven cars that are getting taken.
11 cars in 2 months all from 2 website is a lot...most of the guys couldnt figure out why they didnt hear their alarms or their exhaust when the car was taken until it was figured out that the guy has a tow truck.
but you're right about the bling and booming responsibly. The only time ive ever had a problem was on halloween with my car parked on a major road with no alarm

Removable box and amp rack My big system doesn't even stay in the car for night :P
But I also have an alarm. I take my faceplate off. My speakers aren't visable. And My bedroom window faces my car. I take it to the extreme lol
