For some reason I can't send PM's or receive any. I tried messaging you for help but I guess it didn't work. Can you please repair or reset my account.

Thank you

Its pretty hard to partake in the marketplace/classifieds if one is not allowed to reply or PM. Strange requirements.
Cheers

^ it discourages people who want to use the board only to move gear. This is a community, not ebay. :)

Fair enough. However, a community such as this is doing itself a great dis-service if it limits the free exchange of ideas, knowledge and above all gear
between newbies and veterans alike. After all, it does start and end with gear to keep on feeding the addiction. I am not looking to 'move' gear, however wanted to purchase a unit advertised in the classifieds. It now looks that MIKEM will have to do without my 'newbie' input because of your attempt to keep this a private ' old boys club'.
Cheers

Now if you want to know more info, or give more info there are general discussions formats to do so,
replying in the Classifieds, if it hurts you so much, become a paying member, and you can post up all you like.

This was a great attempt to bring up a bunch of irrelevant points in order to try and make your opinion look more valid.

There is NO limit on the exchange of ideas or knowledge here - just a very momentary limit in the use of our site as a method for shopping. To say that we limit anything but the quick and easy exchange of equipment is farcical. If you want to just find gear, pay and leave without participating in a community format then there are various other formats for that. I suggest either Craigs List or eBay.

Just be aware that each of those avenues is rife with scammers and people who lack any sort of knowledge about what they're selling. (This is the benefit to coming here!)

This is NOT what CCA is here for though.

Participate in the community and you will be given these privileges.

To be honest, the fact that you're raising such a stink about having to make *10* whole posts is a joke.

Personally I believe there is NO disservice being done here and I actually believe that many of our REAL members (read: not you) appreciate the fact that there is a very slight amount of commitment required before you can attempt to scam... err... sell to our members ;)

Thank you for your input though. :smilie_da
