classified's no reply?
I think thats just not right.. sorry.. this is a FORUM.. hence you communicate with people directly through the different sub forums.. and the classifieds is a sub forum am I not mistaken? just a different topic of discussion.. Sure if it were a classified section in a paper or something you couldn't reply i know.. but it isn't.. it's a MESSAGE BOARD.. for messages... :/

A classified ad is an individual trying to sell something. It is not an invitation for discussion.
If you have a question about it then PM them. If you were to answer a classified in a newspaper, would you want to conference call a bunch of people when you phoned them???

like I said... its a MESSAGE board.. not a newspaper.. and I would think it is open for discussion on a board that discusses things.. inclduing what one has for sale.. least that way more and more information pertaining to the exact same item can be answered in the same post rather than having to make a new post..

BOO i was so excited to see the function was back in action, but now it's gone LOL.
Ahh well I don't own/run the site so it's not my call.
Just saying that I like it better with the reply option

We tried reinstituting replys....I think 4 times now.. and people just can't help keeping it on the topic of the item(s) for sale.
If people could keep it relevant then it would be no biggie. I drop in on a couple of other forums that try to keep classifieds on-topic and they expend a LOT of energy doing it.
I know a PM is a little more involved than the quick reply - it takes two mouse clicks to get there - but is it really SO bad?
