yeah,
so i posted a thread in the classifieds for sale section, and was expecting it to get deleted...which it did. the post was for a non-car audio related item (green day concert tickets, to be specific) so why don't we start a general buy and sell section in the classifieds. i'm sure that people have a lot of other stuff that they'd like to sell other then car audio and these forum's are a great way to do it because you usually can trust the person a little more, and there are no ebay charges to worry about.

just a suggestion, but i think it would be really useful in the forum. that way, it would classify the classifieds a little more!

 

well, jsut an idea here but, what about limiting a new FS section to jsut music related topics....radio's, boom boxes,speakers computers..i know computers would be kin =d of borderline but tehy are still ued someitme for in car....and file sharing...still kind of music related...i dunno, i wwas jsut throwing out an idea [img]smile.gif[/img]

I like Chevy's suggestion however it is an idea. Someone selling a washing machine on here is ridiculous tho Fat. Your right about that.

 

You could maybe make some type of Donut Shop sub-section that would be for off-topic sales. But then again, you would still run into the problem of where to draw the line.

 

I'm old school... leave things the way they are.

 

i see NO need to draw a line...why not have just a general buy and sell - anything goes (well, anything legal that is).

for example, on another site that i post on (VW club) they have sections and even subsections for selling things for VW's and then one general section for anything NOT related to VW's. the general section is actually really popular because people can sell junk they want to get rid of to get $$$ for their cars, and people can sometimes find some stuff they want for really cheap!

i just think that selling stuff amongst members would be a good idea since we are all friends and kinda know one another - therefore transactions would be a little safer...

 

I gotta agree with Coffeyman.....Y does there need to be a borderline if its a general buy & sell area.........I also go to several VW sites with this kinds thing & find it quite useful as since your usually dealing with someone you have already dealt with the trust factor is already there.

 

How many times are you guys gonna make the mods say this, they already locked and concluded the last time someone brought it up. Its CAR AUDIO not EBAY. I think the point should be across by now.
