Eastern/Western shows sub forums

I noticed there are no more sub forums for eastern and western shows, does this mean we are to post shows under the eastern and western sections then?

bad idea. cca used to have a calendar but no one even knew how to get to it and no new visitor would even assume there was a calendar with shows.

forum sections are so much better to post info like that b/c its right infront of your eyes.

Anyone interested in posting their companies events in the forum should contact myself or GTcars.

Other than that, Calendar.

Lightbulb

Well, there were a few reasons to go back to a calendar, a couple of which included that posts can get scrolled off the page if announced too early, and that a calendar is easier to get an overall view of what's going on where.

Sadly this is how its going to be done. Some "shops" and there has been a few that feel that they should be able to post their events at their shops where they charge money, for free. Essentially use the forum as their advertising median for $0.00, which would be a super deal in my eyes, if i were a shop.
To meet them half way we offered to allow the advertising of their events in exchange for photos of the events, some people were vocal about it in the void, some thought it was a great idea and fair trade off, but i can tell you that the "shops" and some others felt that was unreasonable and as some said, they will just not comply.
So now, its been decided that if you want a show or event posted and advertised, you pay or use the calendar, otherwise it will be closed and deleted.
End of story, there was a ton of effort put into this to make it work for everyone. But apparently it just wont happen. So that’s the end of that.
