Home Audio/Theatre section?
#21
I would suggest that there's more of a local community in car audio, then there is a home audio/theater.
Cars (vehicles) are mobile, their systems are mobile, they attend shows, competitions, get togethers, etc.
This is something that provides a reason for a regional forum - ie. a Canadian car audio forum.
I'm a huge home theater enthusiast with an "investment" that far surpasses anything I've ever spent on car audio. There are a plethora of excellent forums dedicated to HT, but there's very little community, simlpy because these rooms aren't portable. You can share them, but someone needs to come to your house to enjoy them - which drastically limits the size of the region.
So until, the IHTSaPQCA forms (that's international home theatre sound and picture quality challenge association) I don't see the pressing need for a regional forum dedicated to home audio/theatre.
Between ebay.ca and the link that Tom provided, the resale of used goods seems to be adequately covered.
Anyhow, that's my opinion.
