Makes sense Dukk, I just thought if we had one person in charge of "news" updates in each org they could moderate it and keep us all up to date. We could then have discussions about each org on the regular threads.

Bootlegguy, you have a point ! db Who ? (lol). Ah, we all need a place to play !

Moe has point though. Might be nice to have a place to dicuss rules for specific santioned bodies. I find there is alot of confusion on rules.
EX: It's hard for me to convince someone that there is no SPL in the Ultra Classes of IASCA, or how bonus points currently score. I could always show the scoresheet. I wouldn't mind running a section just for IASCA with some help, probably from Westec, the Western IASCA rep. Just some food for thought.

Another case in point... I just finished revising the IASCA IdBL rules for 2004. It would be great if I had a place to post them for the IASCA competitors on this forum for their review, other than the General SPL section.

If they were posted in an IASCA section as "news" then, if there was any discussion or suggestions about them, it could be done in the General SPL section. In other words, it would not be a forum for discussions, it would be just for the latest info on what's going on in the orgs.

Just a thought, might be a cool idea...

maybe what would be more appropriate is a "competitors forum" that encompases iasca, usaci, and db drags.

I think that the best place for rules discussion is the forums of the respective sanctioning bodies as this is where representatives of these bodies read and post.

If you want to discuss rules here, that's fine, but I don't know if it warrants a seperate forum to do so.
