Just wondering if there is some way of doing this.

Just wondering, noticed Xiphoid's avatar is 1600x1200 ... takes my computer forever to get it.

i thought they were limited.. they automaticalluy resize.they all show up small here.. no 1600x1200 avatars on my end.. the file may be 1600x1200, but it only shows up teeny

His avatar does seem to be larger then some peoples

limiting it to 50x50 is common on most sites

i'm pretty sure it's 100x100 here much better than thoose teeny 50x50 ones

It is 100x100, but when someone links to a large image, your browser still needs to load the whole file.

There's no way to force a smaller size when someone enters it into their profile - it's generally just common courtesy to resize the file because the html will limit it's size to 100x100.
