member profile pic not working???

I uploaded a pic of my ugly mug under "edit profile" section, and it looked like it accepted my picture...but it doesnt seem to show up when I enter new posts? Can someone help? Also, how do you upload pictures as your signature - i would like to do this too...

>Go to sounddomain.com or something and upload a pic for you signature.
>Then open the picture
>Right click click "properties"
>Copy the web address.
>Then in your edit profile paste the address between the code [img] and [/img]
for example:
