I have Ettore on MSN and talk to him here and there. He moved out to Whistler a year or so ago. Tom posts occassionally, and Wade posted his 'new' neon build not that long ago. Logan stops by now and then too.

For many people car audio is a phase they go through. From 16-20 they buy a bunch of gear, are really excited about it, and then college, women, or life intervene and take their disposable income away. Some stick it through and others come back after their life restabilizes, but many just disappear.

I was originally member #8. When the board got upgraded after Rick bought it, all the mods and admins accounts got buggered up and most of us had to re-register.

I believe I was member #202 back in the day. I know I registered in 99 on ECA and it was around the same time on this board as well...

It's always sad to see good people disappear from the hobby.
But neet for the amount of people who registered.

Hmmm, interesting, I started with this when life was unstable: End of high-school, beginning of University when I knew all of my $$$ needed to go to tuition and books . . . I got married while in University, and started having kids when I was doing my Master's . . . so I've never really had disposable income, and I've been doing everything on a shoestring budget. Perhaps I've sticking around (although lurking most of the time) as a hope that one day I'll have disposable income, and I can build a quality system.
