MODS! why was Livin Loud banned?

Livin Loud - is a buddy of mine and can no longer log on, and when he tries to re-register it syas his email is banned. He's tried emailing, but no response, so i thought id bring this up here.
If you can let me know of the reasons for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

We have not banned anyone in a very long time.
Why is it when someone can't get on right away, they jump to the conclusion that they have been banned. There will be ALOT of forwarning and communication before we outright ban someone.
That being said, who has he tried to email? Has he tried the "lost password" function?
If he is trying to re-register with a hotmail account, it will not work. Anyone trying to register with a hotmail, yahoo or any other public email provider cannot register. It cuts down on the number of spammers and such. Only email accounts from your ISP are allowed.
