FT items can be posted in the FS section..... we try and get everyone to post a price but it really is difficult to get people to do it.

It is when people have a full box.
Alot of times I have tried to send PM and it comes back telling me that they are full.
So being able to reply to the FS section would be huge. And WOW you guys are going to limit that to supporters? If they are supporting I can't see them looking in those sections to much.Think stuff out before you do it. I love this site but I need to say that is has become to much of a dealers site. Let it go the way it was, let us talk.

Why would a supporter not look at the FS section? That's a completely ridiculous statement.

as an FYI... this policy was in place LONG before the "new" owners took over. Back in the old CCA days you couldn't reply in the FS section either, and it was for the exact same reason too. There were just too many people bitching and complaining about things people were trying to sell.

The problem is that we get complaints no matter what we do. If we leave it open people bitch because of the post dumping, if we close it people bitch because people can't reply. So what are we supposed to do?

I think having it so that supporters can reply is a pretty nice setup. Not so much because money is made (trust me, none of it goes in to MY pockets) but because it means the regular users are able to get access for a full year with only a $10 investment. Hell, I probably lose more than that in pocket change on a yearly basis. Instead you'll be getting a larger PM box AND the ability to reply. (not to mention access to the private loung area)

As odd as it may sound we actually DO think about things like this. How is it my/our fault if a member has too many messages in their PM box though? Clean up your PM's, export them to file, hell just write things down if you need to but you can stop blaming us for people not managing their box properly.
