Pretty close. Member was 2xblown which changed to Mephistopheles. Indeed he had a negative post count for a while and his status indicator read: Resident ***.

As far as I know, I am the only member with over 10k post so

 

So I was thinking about the right guy, I just messed up his name . . . ever since they allowed name changing I lost track of who's who.

What exactly was the reason for the negative post count. I asked at the time and no one told me. Instead my question was received with a lot of "You don't want to know!" "be glad you weren't there" and "After what he did he deserves to be in the negatives."

Dukk, you're the only one who's reached Chretien status eh? So what kind of book-cooking scandal are you working out right now with your successor?

 

Dukk, How on earth do you have Feb 2006 as your join date? You've been around since . . . almost the beginning, and there is no way that you racked up 12,000 posts since then.

 

When the board changed hands, and after it was updated to the new current forum code, his account was affected, and his post count was back a zero... I guess the count was fixed, but the join date is still messed

^ That's right. My original account became corrupted (happened to a few people) and could not be retrieved. That's what the RIP Member #8 in my sig is all about

SO I had to re-register and it took a LOT of whining to get my old post count back on the new account
