First and foremost, those two users were not asked to leave, I woke up this morning and they had resigned.
I had offered up my phone number and contact details to everyone to contact me on numerous occasions if there was questions or concerns. These 2 people didn’t.
Again, no hard feelings, it was to be expected. I hope they stay a part of the community and maybe down the road return in some sort of capacity as a staff member.

But in all fairness, we had already anticipated the loss of some moderators. It’s the nature of the business, it sucks, but that’s life. I cant change it. Just like I cant change the fact that some members may not return.

CCA was sold to myself and my partner.

We have already began the switch. It was a matter of waiting for the domain to update which seems to be the biggest problem right now. Once that propagates an official PM would go out. There will still be one anyways, as just like this thread will be overlooked, the one on the UBB board was overlooked.

No, wade is no longer running the site, and from my understanding he had very limited interaction with it for the last year anyways.

It is what it is. People will find a reason to leave, I don’t need to give them one. In fact, all we’ve done so far is:
1) upgraded to a quad 3ghz server with great bw capabilities
2) upgraded to vbulletin, which as you should all be seeing, runs smoother.
3) Removed the google ads, which may or may not be replaced.
4) Brought back all the staff. No one has been asked to leave.
5) In the works to implement image hosting for everyone….

If being proactive and in sighting growth is a bad thing, then im in trouble 

This isn’t a corporate take over, we didn’t twist anyone’s arms. I had been a member and a lurker for about 3 years. I called the owner, made an offer. That’s it.

I hope this answers everyone’s current questions. There will still be a formal PM going out once the domain updates.

Surprised I am not... If asked to be totally frank I would propose that Petey is probably a little burnt out and was holding it together due to his friendship with Wade. With that out of the way, Peter can have himself a holiday.

BUT the important part is that I am still around. Damn eh?

 

I don't know if it matters but I like it much better now than it was before.. seems to be a bit more active and cleaner..
