there are 3 different google ads and 2 other advertisments on the front page.
i understand that it costs money to run the site but is it really nessecary to have that much advertising?

PS. the old board ran it too.. so you should be used to it.

i'll add, the only one that might be removed is the right side bar once the other advertisers get their banners together.

 

Go get FireFox and install the extension called ADBlocker
it will block all that and reformat the page so it does not look like something is missing.

 

They arent intrusive at all

 

I had to actually look to see what the heck this was about. All I see is a single line of text below the red navigation bars up top. no biggie

Not that it really makes a difference to me, but the google ads took up a lot more space on the old site... Now if the pop-ups come, then thats different...
