Yea, its always a hard balance with the giveaways.

Do we make them subscribers only?
Do we make users need over 1000 posts?
Do we make it so they need to have been registered for X period.

I always try to keep it open so that everyone can participate, but the easiest solution is really to make it for site supporters only. And remember, this is donated from a vendor so that he can promote his shop

Anyhow Jalat, if they don't claim it I will. hahaha... Its nicer than anything I have

I think what bugged me was the fact that there was a email sent out to ALL members. After that email, there was like 28192 new entries in the contest, all of which were people of I have never seen post on the forums.

I just makes me think that they use the forum for the free giveaway, rather than to shoot the with other members and post threads, ask questions, and such.

Listen, I agree. I mean the end goal for a shop donating a prize is for the exposure and to give back to the community that supports it. My goal is to link the shop up in return for the prize in the hopes that someone who has vested interest in the contest wins. When someone with 7 posts wins, congrats to them and I don't want to knock em down on likely the happiest day of their life. lol

Again, luck of the draw.

Hopefully the winner becomes more active and hopefully we have another prize lined up for CCA in the near future.

Selective Sound really steps up time and time again with their giveaways. Perhaps they will do another one up *wink wink Davis* for subscribers only.
