I have a Focal Utopia Be No.7 Active + 13WS for sale.

I have for sale my used set of Focal Utopia Be No.7 Active (No Crossblock) Components. Also for sale are my 13WS Utopia Be 13 WS (5") Subwoofers. I have had these running on JL Audio Slash 300/4 and JL Audio Slash 450/4 amps for the better part of 4 years. Head unit controlling all the crossover functions was a Pioneer DEX-P90RS paired with its life mate, DEQ-P90RS external processor. However that may seem like a long time, they have seen very limited use in that time frame. I've put maybe 30,000km on the vehicle they were installed in during that 4 years, and I haven't parked and listened to music since I was in high school.
The components still sound absolutely fantastic and I can honestly say I have not heard them clip once since I started using them. The mid-bass is still extremely tight, I ran them crossed over from 63hz -12db slope to 800hz -18db slope. The mid-range spent most of their life @ 200hz -18db slope to 3.5khz -12db slope once I finally decided on an acceptable amount of mid (they are very prominent, the highlight of this kit IMHO). The tweeters were run from 5khz -12db slope to 20khz bandpass. The 13 WS subwoofers I used to heighten the mid-bass stereo effect and had them mounted in sealed kick panel enclosures, 63hz -24db slope to 200hz -12db slope. Despite their small size, they pack considerable punch when not drowned out by the W7's I was using.
You may have questions on their power handling, I can only tell you I ran them with absolutely 0 gain on the mid/tweet(and I had them turned down between -2 and -4 db via crossover settings), and about 1/3 gain for the mid-bass. All run on underrated 75w RMS channels via 300/4 and 450/4 amps. The 13 WS I believe saw about the same 1/3 gain on the 150rms channels in the 450/4 amp.
Reasons for selling this gear... I am returning the vehicle to more stock like interior because I plan on selling it. I don't think many people who would buy the truck would appreciate the quality of these fine audio components, nor would they comprehend the infinite levels of adjustment in the head unit and could end up wrecking something with the HPF/LPF.
I am going to say that I will sell the No.7 Kit as one complete kit for $1200 FIRM. I paid $3800 + tax when I purchased them. Many of you might know that retail for this kit today is still around 3x my asking price. This kit is broken in and ready to go. Focal recommends an extensive run-in period for new drivers. I will also be selling the pair of 13 WS subwoofers for $400 FIRM. These drivers new cost me $700 each + taxes. :( Utopia line is expensive, but worth it.
Also, not pictured but for sale will be the DEX-P90RS/DEQ-P90RS combo. I imported this pair from Switzerland as the black aluminum version was never sold in NA. Cost me $3500 back in the day.... I would sell the combo (as the head unit is essentially useless without its processor) for $1200 OBO. Reasons you might ask for using this as opposed to the P99RS? External crossover is connected via single optical cable, allowing you do use shorter RCA cables (improving quality), and not having to run 4 pairs of RCA from your dash to where your amps are located (likely cutting out on interference via power/ground cables, etc.) The features are near identical except the P99RS can play MP3 disks. Both can use iPod adapters. Purists still use CD's anyways.
Anyhow, I essentially have no time to enjoy this hobby anymore. Someone who is looking to get in to the game or upgrade existing equipment would love the quality audio that comes from these drivers. Additionally I still have all the grilles, mounting options and the tool kit that is sold with them.
Possible that I may sell the amps as well separately, I haven't decided what I'm going to put back in the truck for the sale, all I know is that the Focal/Pioneer is coming out.
I also forgot, I would prefer a somewhat local sale, I live in Alberta, Canada but any shipping type can be arranged. Payment, cash is best in a hand to hand exchange. I would have to set up Paypal for more distant buyers.

I still have the No.7 yes, but mine never came in a suitcase. When I got them I was also expecting the suitcase, but the dealer told me that it was only included with the full kit. Mine came in a fancy Focal box.

Also do not try and haggle me down. I am pretty firm on my price and I'm not going to cut off $200-400 for no reason. You're not going to find another used set of No.7's for anywhere near this price, and like I said before, you're welcome to go and spend +$3500 on a brand new set if you don't like it. I feel like I'm actually giving them away just at $1200. They are perfect.

UPDATE: The No.7 Kit has been sold. The 13ws subwoofers and DEX/DEQ-P90 combo is still for sale. Prices remain the same, I not giving this stuff way.... Also, new option for payment available, interac e-transfer. Willing to ship out.
