If I remember right, there are two fuses for the radio.
One inside the car, for the acc turn on.
One under the hood, for the battery power.

Check for one under the hood.
Then check for a short with the speakers.

Hey prosad

Test for B+ on both the red and yellow wires, as well as a proper ground connection at the end of the alps harness (part that plugs into the deck). If all 3 wire check out (while wiggling/grabbing at all harness connections) bring your deck back to where you bought it for testing. If the voltage readings jump around when you are moving the harness, check or redo all your connections.

It may be a coincidence that it died after the additionally added speakers but make sure they are of proper resistance and that the wire/speakers are not shorting out on something.

Hope this helps!

I FOUND THE PROBLEM! it started off me getting my test light i check the fuses again and they were good (couldnt find a fuse under the hood) so i went to look at the harness in the dash and i seen a yellow unknown wire getting spliced into another wire and randomly taped up so i followed the wire and it ended up in the fuse panel under the steering wheel. i went through each fuseing finding that my daytime running light fuse was blown. so i ended up changing the fuse and Wohoo my radio went on =D. im just kinda pissed at the butcher work that was done to this car before i bought it and the fuse its running on is a 10a so thats why it poped when i turned up the volume, anyways thanks it really helped me out a lot.
