Alpine CDA 9811 problem

Hey guys,
Im having issues with whats been otherwise a great reliable deck for almost 3 yrs.

The first problem happend this morning, while a playing a song it randomly cut off and "INTRRUPT" appeared on the screen.
I assumed it was the CD so i changed but it didnt make any difference
I pulled over thinking it might skipped but it didnt make a difference either.
At this point im pretty pissed and it started working fine again until i go over a certain volume when a loud or low bass note would hit the screen flickers and reads DISC or ITTRUPT.
At first it seemed happen only when a loud bass note would hit but i later found it out it still happens even at low volumes 2-3.

The second issue is that it flickers sort of like it resetting itself
the screen goes blank then quickly displays DISC then blank over and over until it operates fine for a bit

any suggestions? anyone ever experienced anything similar with an alpine deck?
its in a 98 civic si with 2 15" RE SE getting about 1200w
im pretty certain im not getting any voltage drop too

thanks!

Pull the deck out.
See if there is a pink wire with a black stripe (labeled INT), if there is that might be your problem, as it is grounding out.
Tape it up and you should be good.
If that isn't it, I wont be much help.
