Alpine CDA-9855: No Display

It's an LCD display with a flourescent backlight. No you can't replace a bulb and make it work.

If blackout mode was the issue, you would have complained about the display going away 5 seconds after you touch any button.

I'll sell you mine, so i can upgrade?

Thanks for the info Tom.

I'm going to take the head unit to a repair shop this week and get an
estimate to repair the display.

If it's out of line, then I'll consider purchasing yours.
