So I just bought a used 9887 and it looks nice but I only get sound from tuner. Using external amps. cd timer goes and ipod too, everything displays but no sound. WTF?? I reset the unit by pressing the small pin sized button behind the face and still same.

I was powering my amps with power antenna lead instead or remote turn-on. Problem solved.

Yeah, one more mistake I probably will not make again.

 

Gotta love the internet these days, problems get solved in minutes.
