American Bass XD-2000 Amplifier Questions
Just picked up an American Bass XD-2000 Amplifier.
I have a few questions, because I bought it slightly used, without the product manual.
1. Does the amp use (4) 40A fuses? In it currently are (3) 40A, and (1) 20A. I want to replace all them, and thought I saw previously that is uses (4) 40A's.
2. It has (2) negative and (2) positive speaker output terminals. I need to run a Mono channel, at 1ohm. If I understand the directions on the amp, it says to use both positives and both negatives then connect each as 1 wire. Correct?
3. Lastly, the Q-Bass **** (0.5 - 2.0). Someone explain what this setting does?
Thanks!

#1 it uses 4x40 fuses dont use different fuses in the amp... it will go pouff.
#2 if you want to run mono you have -+-+ use the first - and the last + but make sure your sub is wired to one ohm first then put your negative to that first - and your positive to that last +.
#3 In lamens terms, the lower number will lower the ouput of your amp and the higher number will increase your amps output. With the turn of a button, think of it as a bass boost.
