if u want the full output of ur subs then u better of getting this giant and it will pump ur subs on full capacity.....if u dont wanna go that higher then get the lower model of that amp....i think thats da best choice for u by lookin at ur subs.... ( u might get these amps cheaper on ebay )

It would help if you listed final impedance load on your subs. And if you're planning to feed 1200 watts into each one be prepared to buy new subs, as the voice coils will most likely melt instantly, unless you're not planning to play them loud. These subs are rated 400 watts rms each.

If they are D4's, you can bridge them to get a 1 ohm final load, if they are D2's you can bridge them to get a 2 ohm load. There are a couple of other wiring options.

Look into Sundown 1000 or 1200 if they are D4's, and wire them to 1 ohm.

The max wattage of your 12" Pioneers is far less important than their RMS rating.

I think this is your subwoofer(s) <<< click that <<<

The RMS rating is 400 Watts, like Sasha said. Since you're running two, you'd do well to get an amplifier that doesn't supply much more power than 800W.

You've stated that they are DVC subs, but are they 2 ohm or 4 ohm voice coils? Usually say DVC2, or DVC4.

If they are dual 2 ohm, then you can wire the voice coils of each sub in parallel. Providing a 1 ohm load from each sub. Then wire the subs in series to add the resistance to get a 2 ohm load. In this case you'd need an amp that has an output of 800W @ 2 ohm.

If they are dual 4 ohm you can wire everything down to 1 ohm, by using parallel wiring to connect all the voice coil terminals. In this case you'd need an amplifier that is 1ohm stable while maintaining an output around 800W. (800W @ 1 ohm stable)
The other thing you can do if they're dual 4's, is to wire the voice coils on each sub in parallel (making each sub 2 ohms), then wire the subs in series to bring the load back to 4 ohms. In this case you'd need an amp that has an output of 800W @ 4 ohm.

I'm from Brantford. So you're not too far away from me. Not sure where you're getting your gear from, but I can give you a hand if you'd like.

These are not suggestions. Just amps that would work. Click the red text for the linked URL

MTX 1-Channel Car Amplifier (TC6001M)
~ will provide 900W @ 4ohm. ($480 at Futureshop)

Exile Monoblock Amplifier (S1000.1)
~ will provide 1000W @ 2 ohm ($550 at Futureshop)

Alpine Mono Amplifier (MRP-M1000)
~ will provide 1000W @ 2 ohm ($510 at Best Buy)

Just depends how much you're willing to spend. I'm not sure how much the Sundowners are that Sasha suggested. But they may be worth looking into.
