Anyone Have This Issue Before?
Okay, well i have an aftermarket stereo and amp/sub all hook up. everything works great ect. but when i go to turn on my high beam on my headlights. the aftermarket stereo flickers and my sounds goes off. Anyone have an idea what or why it is causing this??????? could it be the stereo or power issue???? all wires are hook up correctly.

Just throwing this out there; where did you tap into for your amp turn-on power? Could it be related to the high beams?
Is your factory alt being overworked when presented with the load of highbeams (designed for this load) and aftermarket amp powering hungry subs (not accounted for this load)?
Are you using high level(speaker), or low level (RCA) input to the sub amp?

my amp is connected directly to my battery.I have HID headlights also, not sure if that is causing it since the HID are also using a lot of power. also, i have the amp connect via RCA to my stereo deck. but why would this flickering of the stereo happen on high beam only and not on headlight being on? may i have connected the rca's wrong? highly unlikely. cause everything else works fine.

i think i have found out the issue. one of my capacitors for my HID is probably not working. because i disconnected the capacitor and try my high beams and my stereo did not flicker any more. must be that since the capacitor went out it was causing unbalance of power to the hid lights and at the same to my stereo/amp.
