can i get more power?

ok so here's my problem
i got 2 alpine type r subs that are 2 ohm by 2 ohm
and i got 2 alpine mrd 500 amps
so my problem is that
i have to wire it at 4 ohms because my amp is not 1 ohm stable
so meaning im only getting 250 rms to each sub
is there any way of like strapping the amps or anything that will allow me to get more power?

I looked up the manual, no they're not strapable.

but, you could use both amps on one sub.

2 amps, one on each coil, each at 2 ohms, would give you 1000 w on one sub. which would probably fry a type r.

Really, you need two 4 ohm dvc subs, one on each amp.

I was just looking up kickers for someone else;
Kicker 05 CVR12 4-Ohm CompVR Subwoofer 05CVR12
50-400 watts RMS, dual 4-ohm voice coils, double-stitched SantopreneŽ rubber surround.
Those would work well with those alpine amps.
