car amp at home
I wanted to connect a car amp to my home speakers not permanently but just to test it and to learn something at the same time.
I have a 12 volt dc transformer which should work like a car battery and 4 speakers. The source will be coming from my computer. Please help me figure out how to wire it.
Here a picture of the back of the amp i have:

Thanks in advance for any help.

there's no problem i just need some help wiring it, for example the power is confusing cause if you have a dc transformer you have + and - and i'm not sure where to conect them, I dont want to fry them amp so i am asking for help.

Do you mean that your DC transformer has + and -, and you're not sure how to connect them to the + and - of your amp?
Do not connect anything!!! return all your equipment in it's original packaging to your retailer ASAP, and get a refund.
If they ask why, just tell them you're too $%^&**& stupid to own this type of equipment!!! JK, but I couldn't resist...I've been waiting for 8 years to use that line.
Seriously...How many amps or watts output does your transformer have?
You are going to need whatever the total of the fuses on your amp have, plus 10 amps, to be safe.
For example if your amp has 2x30 amp fuses, you should have a 70 amp power supply.
Connect the positives of the amp to the positive of the supply, connect the negative of the amp to the negative of the supply, and to the chassis of the computer.
All 120 volt equpiment should also be properly grounded with a 3 prong plug.
Turn it on and check for escaping smoke BEFORE connecting any RCAs.

I don't agree with the guy who posted 'the total of all fuses, plus 10 amps.
My amps have two 30 amp fuses. And reading the manual, the max power they can draw is 25 amps, average with music is 19 amps. (Music can never use rated power without clipping)
Pioneer puts a fuse on the ground side to protect stupid people who hook them up backwards.

my main question waht that the in the power section of the amp there is GND, Remote on and 12v+ I wanted to know how to power it. Should i conect the positive to 12v+, the negative to remote on and leave gnd empty?
And is the amperage very important? my source is 0.5 amps which i doubt is strong enough but once again i'm just trying to learn a bit so dont tell me forget about cause i wont get much power out of it.

if you're trying to learn go to Basic Car Audio Electronics before you even touch a wire, spend two weeks reading there then go back to what you want to try.
