Clicking sound comming through speakers

... ok, i've posted a couple posts on this sorta thing... i've had wineing (which i believe i fixed with a better ground) but now I'm still gitting a clicking sound, I have a really good kenwood 4 ch amp 600W peak, 50W RMS. I'm just wondering how to git rid of the clicking, it's annoying and when competition time comes around i'd fail or lose points majorly. It only clicks when the car is actually on, and it also goes away when i turn the gain ALL the way off... which then messes up how i've set everything. I've got everything set to how i want it and it sounding good. I just don't know how to git rid of the clicking sound.
Any solutions or ideas.
P.S. I've fixed any ground problems, so that shouldn't be it.

Try grounding your rcas to bare metal on your head unit, (I'm using my second Kenwood deck and I've always noticed small noise issues without doing this) just pull your deck and do the connection behind the deck (this way there are no hotwired looking rca's at your amp) try it and let me know

oh, yeah try his idea. the clicking noise I'm imagining is being found at the deck, but again this is my imagination. try the grounding of rcas thing, that sounds way easier than my option hahaha

mine was switch decks and see what happens, like swap with a buddy, if the problem goes away then you know thats the problem, but then it will cost you a new deck, unless your car is faster than your friend's.

as for grounding the rca's I don't see why the same ground wouldn't work, but I wouldn't know what to connect the ground to on the actual rca cable...I'm a noob though

ok well I just tryed grounding the RCA's... and no dice. it actually gits louder... so... and only one of my friends has a deck with the full set of pre outs.
Fresh, the outside shield is the negative (ground) on your RCA's.
But like i said it hasn't fixed the problem. so... now the only thing to try is a deck switch... which might be a lil hard... but maybe i'll just deal with the problem for now and buy a better deck this summer... but i still like the deck i have now... so yeah...
