Fixing a Focal KRX2 midbass speaker... phase plug issue
so this is what showed up in my mailbox today... pictures attached
I bought a set of focal krx2 speakers online used off a guy from the states and when i unboxed and opened them one of the mids phase plugs was completely off the speaker.
anyone know how to re attach the phase plug to the mid?
These speakers are used and not brand new.. im in works with the seller to fix this speaker but was wondering if any local focal dealers to speaker places in the city could fix it for me. The voice coil is not damaged thank god just phase plug removed.
has anyone ever glued these back on?
It looks like simple adhesive that has come loose...
if anyone knows a speaker fixing repair shop in the city let me know or authorized dealer that would fix it for me.
UPDATE **Gunna take it to Fab Audio in scarborough as they have been highly recommended for speaker repair

Is the locatink pin that loose in the magnet pole piece? It should be snug.
You could take a 2" wide strip of printer paper and wrap the phase plug until it just slides in past the former and after the goop sets just pull the paper out. Same concept as using shims on the coil when reconing.
