Ford JBL audio

I have a ford jbl prem sound. it has 2 speakers in the dash (3 1/2) two in the door (5 1/2) and two (6x9) in the rear deck. I will be replacing the head unit speakers and amps and because of the amazing ford jbl system rewiring the whole car. I would very much like to reuse all the factory holes. The jbl system has the front door and dash speakers paralle wired with the rear speakers taking up the other two channels. I tried to get some information on the resistance of the speakers but the best i can come up with is the speakers are between 3 and 6 ohms. this was out of the ford factory repair manual. It also stated that the rating was stamped on the back of the speaker, and of course on inspection there was nothing there. When i checked the jbl site it told me to check with the local ford dealer. I have been with the local ford dealer for 18 years and absolutly no one i know with ford can tell me anything about the ratings of a jbl system. Need less to say i cannot use there spec to replace the system. So heres the question if i wire the door and dash speakers in parallel usind two 4ohm speakers it drops to a two ohm load so i must find a two ohm amp, but how do i keep the dash speakers from overpowering the door speakers? i understand you can gain 3dbs off the reflection of the wind shield and of course the dash speakers are closed than the door speakers

The best way to solve this problem and have the most flexibility would be to install a 4 channel amp for the front sound stage and actively crossover the front speakers. Without getting into a ton of detail, this will allow you to adjust the dash and door speakers separately for the best sound.
The other option is to install resistors on the 3.5" mid to decrease its efficiency but you will need to do a lot of research to get it right.
If you do decide to go with a 2 channel amp for the front, almost all aftermarket amps are stable to 2ohm stereo but you will have the problem of overpowering dash speakers unless you add in the resistors.
I don’t have an active system for my front soundstage but i know some people on here do, hopefully they can help you more.
