okies well since you seem to have a good gear selection i'd assume you dont have power and rca down the same side double check for great grounds, see if the rcas may be too close to the fuel pump wiring? not too up on my 3000gt knowledge. you can run a small ground equalizer wire from your amp ground to your deck ground which has made a world of difference on customer honda civics for me before. routing for your front left and right wires too close to a dirty power source? pinched rcas? have you done the big three? somethings to think about. there are so many stupid little things that cause unwanted noises its rediculous.

Cable location has little to do with ground loop problems.. and it's not necassary to run rcas on opposite sides of the car from power cable... induced noise is cause by alternating magnetic fields created by your alternator.. not from any magnetic field created by DC current flow...

check out navone engineering's website for some sure fire fixes... the HU powersupplies with active noise supression work well and are pretty inexpensive...

I usually run my rcas as far away as possible anyway - just to eliminate one other possibility for noise introduced into the signal path...

you may have a bad battery or alternator. start the car and turn the radio on.. listen to the engine whine.. turn your headlights and AC on.. if the whine gets worse you might have an alternator problem. try re grounding the battery and your am grounds...

well there you have it you dont have a ground issue with your POWER you have a ground problem with your signal

either the RCA (HU to amp) is dicked or your signal from the amp to the speakers is touching ground
