Head unit that shuts off every 10 minutes

Have a Panasonic cq-7500 head unit. Been working fine for a year. But last week the deck turned off when I was driving.I thought i had bumped the remote.I pushed the button and it came back on. Didn't think anything of it till it shut off again that same day. Was driving my truck again today and it did the same thing. It turns right back on and plays normal for @9-10 minutes and then shuts off.Never had this problem with any of the systems I've had. I have 6 amps, multiple sound processors,eq's,and it seems it only the deck shutting off. It turns right back on and plays totally normal for about the 10 minutes. So,any ideas of what it could be?

The voltage indicator in my dash(factory cluster gauge) says 13-14.Digital display on my Audio control Epic 150 in my dash shows constant 13.5-14 volts, and fuse block in my back window that my 0 awg power wire feeds says 14.2. So I doubt its that. The head unit is the only thing thats shutting off.I thought maybe it over heated, but when it turns back on it functions 100% again for the 10 minutes.

If it was overheating one wouldn't think that it would turn right back on right away either. Sounds like maybe your deck is just plain starting to crap out. Does it have a removeable face? If so maybe it isn't quite snapping closed as well as it used to and temporarily loosing connection?

No,its a flip out 7" screen. It does have a section that does remove now that I'm thinking about it. I'll try that, but I'm thinking it maybe the crapping out part. Hate having to switch decks. Thanks For the reply though.

did you use a relay on your remote turn on wires for all your amps and such?

Yes. And like I said, the head unit is the only thing shutting off. Thats why this is confusing to me. I can crank it or play it low,and in 10 minutes, its says good bye on the screen. But will turn right back on,and play totally fine for the 10 minutes. I've had it set up as it is all this year, and ran it most of last year like it is.Only addition was my ipod touch so I can play video's on the screen now with the songs.

The headunit itself is on its way out.

Any idea if it would most likely be the head unit,or the brain box?

Is it exactly 10 minutes (is there a shut-off timer)?
