Help

Ok so I have a ex cop car chevy lumina, I have spent 10 hours today trying to get the amp and sub hooked up, saddly I have failed. So I got the AV cords 18 gauge wire and the power wire going from the amp to the front of the car. The AV cord into in the cd deck along with the 18 gauge wire attached to the white&blue wire (remote? right?). Took me a long *** time but i got the power cord to the battery also alright so after doing all this I got to my battery... btw with a lumina it is not easy you got to remove a fuse box, window washer fluid and a bar just to see the battery. I unplugged the negative then attached the power wire with the fuse to the positive then hooked it all back up after it was all hooked up i got nothing no sound from the subs at all.. any idea ???? btw i grounded in my trunk on the HINGE of my truck cause i thought it was the best place.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

the main MTX logo seems to light up red when power is applied. so check for that.

if nothing then check with a DMM (digital multi meter) to check for voltage from the main power wire as well the remote, both should read 12v.
