it's disconnected now..how should I hook it up?

that will not matter cus you cant bridge that amp it is already bridge inside the amp

yes but we need to know what is the voice coil config of the sub cus that amp that you have is not one ohm stable

it's either 4 ohms or 8 ohms

You should use a DMM to check out the resistance of the voice coil. It could be that the coil is shorting out.

ok...sounds like I need help cause I understand what you guys are saying but I have no idea how to do any of it! lol I'm up in Barrie, Ontario.....

It's hard to tell until you measure the resistance of the voice coil.
