I would go with a 2 channel amp that can handle 2 ohms stereo. Another option would be to run both subs into 4 ohms on a mono block amp, or find an amp that can handle 1 ohm. I wouldn't run them at 1 ohm though. Or, if you have the spare cash, get an amp for each sub.

If it was me, I'd find a good 2 channel class A/B amp

if you want to stick with kicker, I would suggest the ZX550.2 or ZX850.2. Or you could also go with the SX900.2 or SX600.2

They also have a few good mono blocks that crank out a fair bit of power at 4 ohms, but they will probably cost more.

Kicker SX900.2 is 450 WRMS x 2 @ 2 ohm.
Or 900 brided into 4. Either way, it looks like it was made for those subs.

MTX TA91002 would give you 500 x 2 @ 2 ohm.

With so many different lines that may offer more value, why limit yourself to only one?

beacause i imagine that if a company makes a sub and an amp you would think they would work at their peek together

That's like comparing apples and oranges. Alone, they are alright. Together, possibly blended in some sort of smoothie, fabulous.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm trying to get a Polk Audio MoMo system going. I hope the subs and comps sound great together, if only they made decent amps.
