Unhappy How to troubleshoot no sound in speakers

I have a 2009 Infiniti G37 with Navi. Everything appears to have power and I have checked all the fuses but the speakers have no sound in any mode. I am armed with a multimeter and very little knowledge. How do I troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks,
Chris

were you messing with the stereo or something prior to it going out? Did you make sure to check the vehicles radio fuse, and or factory amplifier fuse?

You might have an intermittent short in the speaker wire of the one that cuts in and out. Basically you need to trace the wire from the deck to the speaker and make sure it's not grounding out to anything along the way. Other than that ... most likely they're blown.

A G37 likely has a Bose system in it or at least premium sound with an amplifier. Take it to a shop.
