I need help!!!

i have a 1200 watt mtx thunder 4200 series amp..
just bought 2 10" kicker cvr10's (600rms) competition series..

my problem is when i hook the amp into my truck, the subs don't pound like there supposed to.. i had 2 10" infinity's that where pounding earlier in the day, which i took out and sold to a buddy of mine.

I have checked all connections, ran new RCA's, what could be the problem, there is also a crackling noise coming from the subs...

so i took out the 1200 watt mtx thunder, and changed it with my 800watt Sony explode amp..WORKS AND POUNDS PERFECT.. what could be the problem with my amp.. please help me! i want more BASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Definitely need more info here. What are the coils? dual 2 dual 4 ohm? What box are you running? I can tell you that especially with the added power and change in subs, there's going to be a different box needed

the problem didn't happen with these subs the h append with my other subs.
i removed the subs outta my truck with the amp running? cud that be a problem? The box is enclosed. no port holes. the 800 watt Sony amp is pounding, but i really want the 1200 watt one to be working..

amp not tune properly?
improper box?
wrong ohm configuration(could be running them at 8 ohms who know?)
could be many thing...
i mean 1 amp can probaly handle 1-2 ohms
does infinity could of been single 4 ohm voice coil and the crv are single 2 ohms?
lots to check (that my 2 cent don't flame me i had the same issues with friends)

Definately sounds like an impedance issue.
How are you wiring the subs to the amps?
How do you have the subs wired? Use a DMM to verify the final load.

I've done a quick Google search to find out more about the MTX, but cant seem to find anything.
Maybe an exact set of model numbers will help us help you.
