Kenwood KAC-9102D Amp Problems, Help.

Well I am running 2 Kenwood Kac-9102D amps.
The first one I bought was about 2 months back, ( used ) but in great condition, to power my Infinity 1250w subs.
Seeing as you always want more, I upgraded to two Lanzar Heritage HRWDC12 subs, and bought another KAC-9102D amp.
The problem I had previously on my 1st set up was the amp worked great, then it just lost power suddenly. So I did some tests, and found that if I connected a wire from the MAIN ground terminal, to the smaller ground screw, located near the imput for the gain ****, ( must just be a second smaller ground for RCA cables, or the gain **** ), the amp worked. I figured the main ground terminal had somthing blown inside.
So after I got the new subs, and other amp, it seems the 1st amp does not want to power up again. I can get a slight jolt of power and sound, IF i take off the small wire I connected to the smaller ground, and tap it quickly against the screw. Holding it on it, will make the amp cut out.
SO, I have a feeling the ground terimals have the bed, and I need some answers.
Thanks.
