Hello everyone, I have a quick question about these subwoofers. These are 2 12" Kicker L5 subwoofers with 2Ohm DVC. Could I wire each sub to 1Ohm and attach them both seperately (not wiring them together at all) to my mono amp to get 1Ohm?
I currently have a new school Cerwin Vega STKR122 in a ported box. Is it worth upgrading to the 2 12" Kicker L5s? If not, what can I upgrade to? My budget is $300 including sub and box.
Incase anyone is wondering:
1 12" Cerwin Vega STKR122 (wired in parallel to 1200watts RMS at 1Ohm)
1 Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1d Amp (1200watts RMS at 1Ohm)
2 6 1/2" Pioneers
2 6x9" Pioneers
1 MB Quart ONYX60.4 (60watts x 4 RMS at 4 Ohm)
