Kinetik HC 800 drainning??
I was wondering if someone might be able to tell me why my Kinetik HC 800 battery for my amps would keep draining? I replaced my battery cap that I originally had when East End Hamilton installed my system with a Kinetik HC 800 battery. When I had my shitty 1 farad battery cap, I had no issues with my system cutting out. But for some odd reason, now that I upgraded my battery cap to a Kinetik HC 800, after maybe 20min, my system cuts in and out. At first I thought it was perhaps the cd skipping or something, but when I lowered the volume, or turned off the base in my truck, my system wouldn't cut out.
You would think that upgrading from a shitty battery cap that had only 1 farad, to a Kinetik HC 800 battery would improve my system, not the other way around.
I had two amps that are powered by the Kinetik 800 battery and I use a Oxide car battery as my regular battery to start my vehicle.
Is there any reason why my Kinetik battery would drain so quickly? I can understand when my engine is not running, but while driving?
Also, should I upgrade to a HO alternator, or upgrade my regular car battery to a Kinetik battery too? If I need to upgrade my alt to a HO alt, does anyone know of a place that sells HO alt in Hamilton?

How is the rear batt hooked up?
It should have a positive from the front batt going to the rear (usually in 1/0) and then the rear batt should be grounded to the frame/chassis in the rear (usually in 1/0)
From there, you would power/ground all your amps off your rear batt.

here is the detailed info on the kinetik site:
Weight: 26lbs
Ah: 36
Dimensions: 7.6"x5"x6"
the battery is at best a toy and is a ripoff (IMO) at its asking price of $250 even at a sale price of $100 US (sorry) and still it should be an improvement over the 1 farad affair... do you have a relay separating your starting battery from your kinetik
