Matching a sub with my new amp.
Matching a sub with my new amp.
I have just purchased a Hifonics X1500.1D amplifier.
The RMS outputs are as follows -
RMS Power @ 4 ohms 600 watts x 1 channels
RMS Power @ 2 ohms 1100 watts x 1 channels
RMS Power @ 1 ohm 1500 watts x 1 channels
Peak Power Output 1500 watts x 1 channels
This would mean i may purchase any 2ohm subwoofer rated at 1000watts correct? Another question, what does it mean when a subwoofer has a dual 2 or 4 ohm?
For example this subwoofer... SSD12 - Fi Car Audio Store
