Navigation and external DVD playback simultaneously?

Well, it's been about 6 or 7 years since I have really done anything car audio related. I have dealt with factory systems in my last couple of vehicles. However, I will be buying a Jeep by the end of the year and want to put an aftermarket nav unit in. However, if there is one that I can also use to play DVDs on headrest screens (two young children and long trips), I would prefer to have that. I know I can get a factory nav system and LockPick it, but I don't like the quality of those units. Their nav features are way off and I'm not sure I could get simultaneous nav and DVD playback. I don't want to watch the DVD up front while in motion (I'm already an inattentive driver). I was just wondering if anyone knows of a unit similar to what I'm looking for currently on the market. This will be my first time messing with a DVD player or nav unit, so I will likely have it professionally installed. I know I want the screens professionally done (it would make me sick to hack away at a brand new vehicle). Also, can anyone recommend a screen that I can physically remove when the kids aren't with me? Something about a soft top and valuable video components makes me a bit nervous. I'll be installing a high quality alarm with proximity sensor at the same time as the head unit and screen install, but better safe than sorry.

My apologies for the long first post.
