i have a macvision in dash cd player (i know its canadian tire crap) and for some weird reason i get no sound. the deck is getting power everything turns on and the screen is working fine but still no sound. i checked to see the fuse in the back of the cd player and it seems to be fine. can someone tell me what it could be?

Year make and model of vehicle. It may have a factory amp that is not turning on. May as well include the HU model number.

Thanks

You do have the remote wire hooked up correct? Just in case there is an inline factory amp.

But was there an amp in the system somewhere hiding? Sometimes in the rear quarter panel area or somewhere else. Did you connect the blue remote wire?

There might be a factory amp in there, easiest way to find out is to pop the speaker leads with a battery, if they don't pop than you have a factory amp.
