Need some help!!

so ya just got the system installed everything sounds great, but when i turn my deck past a certain point (vol 22) my speakers are cutting out and all i hear is the bass from the subs. untill i shutdown the deck and boot it back up, then my speakers will turn back on until it cuts out again. i heard it could be from a positive and negitive touching. but i thought i would see what you guys have to say about it, maybe pin point the problem before i start taking apart. just let me know what you guys think.

definataly a short of some kind... could be a misaligned speaker. As soo you get it moving a good bit the coil touches the pole piece and shorts. Could also be a speaker with a fried coil, a short to the chasssis through some paint (not a dead short, but still greaty reducing the resisance on that line..

Fae all the way to the front. Crank it up.. if it doesn't cut out, fade all the way to the rear ..when it cuts out..then reboot your head unit, fade back to center, but move the ba;ance all the way left or right.. when it cuts out you'll have isolated the speaker line the sproblem is occuring at.... if it's a misaligned coi you won't be able to tell with a multi-meter checking the speaker leads.
