I see what you are trying to do. Even though there are multiethnic taps like that, you should only use one. Consider runnin the extra tweeters off the deck or a small amp on their own.

I believe Haunze's response stems from the fact that most of the users here (SPLers excepted) are looking for the best sound possible rather than adding extra drivers merely for show appeal.

To each their own though.

I want the best of both worlds. Not ALL show and no go. I'm not running 3 sets of components glassed into each door panel with a tweeter 6 inches from my head or anything. I'm doing something that fits the image I have in my head and still trying to keep everything as correct as I can get it. I may run fully active and employ TA one day, but until then I'm doing what I can with what I got.

Isn't a 3-way front stage acceptable? I will have everything crossed over to do it's own job eventually. Will I have major cancellation issues running different speakers through the same frequencies? I will keep them at equal distance as much as I can. I have the components amped and the tweets off the deck power right nowand I've been playing around with them on and off and will try some different placement options soon.

I'm looking to learn and experiment through this exercise on my own car. I'm trying things I've never done before and maybe taking some risks, but I'm sure everybody started somewhere and had to ask questions to get where they're at now. I want to have something that I can be proud of in looks and performance.

Thanks again for all the help/suggestions

^^all you need is your ears and your imagination. Who cares what anyone else thinks will sound or look better...it's your car and your ears! Unless you plan on competing, there are no good reasons to ignore your taste in tuning, and aesthetics. I've never competed and have no interest in doing so, and while I get ideas and learn about technical issues and sound theory from boards like this one, I always rely on my own judgement as to what sounds good to me. Many times I'll see something that looks interesting and I'll try it to see if it makes a big difference or just changes the sound signature. Some I incorporate, many i don't, even though they may be regarded as technically superior. If I don't hear a difference that sounds better to me, I won't change what I have.

^^ True Enough. Thanks bro. I'm on here to learn what I can to make it sound as good as it can. Questions don't cost any money, but not asking them could. I'm not planning on competing either and am almost as interested in the way it looks as how it sounds. I just don't understand why haters gotta hate. I'd appreciate anything people have their time into, whether I would use it personally or not. Not really into Fords, but I can appreciate a nice one.

I know it'll end up lookin and soundin good.... To me at least. Lol.

Everybody else can eat $#!+

I got a good deal new. It sounds good running a pair of components @ 4ohms. Lots of power and pretty useful filters etc. and a bass boost ****. I am planning on running it 2 ohms with a pair of front midbass as well as components. I wanted it done by the end of the month, but now I gotta move.

They advertise as underrating them, but mine was very close to what was advertised. It doesn't list on the birth sheet what voltage they test at and that could be a huge difference if tested at 12v. I am quite happy and I'll let u know how 2 ohms sounds.
