Pioneer AVH-P4400 Hissing Noise
Pioneer AVH-P4400 Hissing Noise
I can hear a hissing noise after installing a new Pioneer AVH-P4400 with properly ground terminal on my Accord 01. I'm using factory amp.
This happens on all modes - USB, BT, Aux. Just connect and increase volume - around 10 or more hissing noise is crystal clear.
Previously had a Pioneer DEH-9400 which had hissing noise only in BT mode and that too at very high volumes.
Sony GT700HD had no such issues (although that didn't have BT).
How do I get rid of this? Ground RCA? I would rather change this unit than changing factory amplifier.
Thanks for your time!

In terms of bypassing the factory amp, the output from your hu goes srtaight to the respective speakers. Remove input and output from the amp, determine which are the speaker wires and basically jump them, by splicing wires from one to the other, you dont need to cut off the connectors, make sure they are insulated when finish splicing.
The manual doesn't have any mention of reset anywhere. The closest I could find is turning the demo mode off.
Grounding RCA has no effect. Short of bypassing the factory amp (which I would prefer not to tinker with), is there any other option?
Is this a known issue with Pioneers?

It should have a manual reset button some where to fasctory reset the unit, on other pioneer units it's a tiny white button located in a hole behind the face plate that you press and hold for a few seconds.
