problem with iva-d106

hello everyone. new member here hoping to get some help with a problem i just recently ran into. I'm using an alpine iva-d106 with the ipod connector and a while back i didn't have any problems with it. But recently i don't know what is wrong with it. I use iTunes to transfer all songs and video into the ipod touch (1st gen). Everytime i convert a music video i would goto get info > options > then change it from video to music video. This is what i've been doing all along back then and had no problems. on the deck, when i goto videos > music videos ... it would show the list i have. But a couple months back i decided to clear out the ipod and start over fresh. now everytime when i choose videos and try and select music videos, nothing happens. it makes the beeping noise like there is nothing in there. The very first time i choose videos, it showed a list, but now everytime i choose it, it says ERROR001. I can only get to all the videos (videos and music videos) by selecting the first option, playlist. i can't seem to figure out what it could be. i don't think that updating the ipod firmware has anything to do with it. doesn't really makes sense that nothing shows up when i select music video when i changed it in itunes to music video. Hope someone with more knowledge than me can help me out on this one. Even tho i can still play the video ... it bugs me that it's not working the way its supposed to. Especially when it was working fine before
