Would like to switch out my Alpine CDA-9886 for either a IVA-D106 or a NZ500 or any other flip out dvd nav system that would be highly recommended...

 

alpine hands down as if you are doing push ups.

 

The stereo company that told me about the Clarion NZ500 said that it was superior to the Alpine flip out HU not that I'm saying that he's right I would love to stick with Alpine but what made you basically say to kick the clarion out of the picture? Plus the only reason I was really even considering the Clarion was because it come with nav built it but if the Alpine blows it away in all other areas then I can live without it till I can buy it for the Alpine...

 

I don't like the screen of the NZ500, good touchscreen but not enough resolution and contrast.
