Question about mids

i've been skimming around this site since my friend mentioned it to me and i have yet to find an answer to this..

has anyone out there used home audio mid woofers in their cars.. something like these (sorry about ebay link):
http://cgi.ebay.com/POLK-AUDIO-R10-5-1-4-SHEILDED-WOOFERS-NEW-100-WATTS_W0QQitemZ280124916797QQihZ018QQcategoryZ3276 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

i'm just wondering because they can be found fairly cheap anywhere you look

any input or suggestions would be great

I have used home audio speakers in my car

I have not used that particular driver

good news: it is cheap, it is 4 ohms, it can handle a reasonable amount of power
bad news: I have no idea what it sounds like, I have no idea if it will fit in my car (it looks REAL deep with the magnet shield) but for the price who cares do like I do start filling your house with odd speakers now... it is amazing how many can fit in a garage
