Scratching my head.....

K so someone must have an answer for this. For some reason i cant figure it out. Car is in acc engine not running all is perfectly well bass produces fine, now start my car and it surges, sometimes no noise sometimes harsh whining, clipping it gets ugly .... grounds are upgraded at the amp in the trunk and under the hood( batt to body and engine to body) .... simply dont understand ... Head unit is like 6 months old amp is tested and known good, subs are fine ....

also, go to the RCA cable behind the deck and put a wire from chassy ground to the ground on the RCA cable, solder it on to the outside of the RCA (ground portion) and that will also help control engine whine.
